The world would not evolve without self defense products.
Over the centuries, the way humans defend themselves has been transformed
into civility. The weaponry used during the renaissance and medieval
periods was barbaric bludgeoning gear to say the least. Today’s self
defense products are docile by comparison. For example, in the early
1600s, the plebeians’ fighting weapon of choice was the Dussack.

Unlike the subtle self defense products of recent times,
the Dussack was a multi-purpose cutting weapon. During the day, it doubled
as a hunting tool, a fielding or farm tool for tasks on the home front.
But in this day of the millennia, the closest equivalent of the Dussack
would be the self defense knife. It is generally sold as the self defense
product alternative to the gun.
