Because it is an inflammatory
agent, rather than an irritant, the active ingredient in self defense pepper
spray is highly effective against all those who feel no pain — for example,
psychotics, drunks and drug abusers. There’s a natural occurring oily organic
element derived from red hot cayenne peppers, called Oleoresin Capsicum,
initialed “OC” for short, that comes out of the pepper plant. This OC

be used at a distance (usually 8-10 ft. depending on size and type of
